Netflix Casts Perfect Actor for Bon Clay in One Piece Upcoming Installment

The performer, who is non-binary and goes by they/them, will portray a version of that character reimagined as non-binary identifying, rather than as a drag artist, in the real-life adaptation, differing from the initial comic and anime.

This performer is joined by a number of new cast members who will portray the group to the screen, including chief the main antagonist, portrayed by the well-known actor, an emerging star as another operative, and an accomplished actor, who is also part of the ensemble as King Nefertari Cobra of the fictional land.

Even though this character is a key figure of the organization, the individual will be introduced in One Piece the upcoming installment. With the next season set to cover the Little Garden storyline, this signals a notable change in the placement of the character’s debut, one that could signal further changes to the narrative framework.
